On my mind

This is what's on my mind and what I would shoot if I were to shoot right now. Prints, colours, prints and colours. Perfect.

Winter goddess

Aren't these moments captured by Norwegian Solve Sundsbo the most magical pictures ever?

V Avenue Shoe Repair

We all have this brand our hearts skips a beat for. Mine is (as you might know), Alexander McQueen. But here in Sweden, it's definitely V Avenue Shoe Repair. And since I'm photographing for Rodeo during fashion week I have been fortunate enough to see it live. My conclusion of the show is, although I liked the previous season before much better, I still think that they're pretty amazing.

Library boys

This is a moodboard for a shoot on sunday. It's going to be preppy and (i hope) pretty much fantastic. Hopefully you'll get to see the result very soon.

Faces

Many people have asked: "What do you look for in a model?" I say: "Uniqueness, confidence and beauty."
Uniqueness, because it's no fun photographing a face that we've seen before. Of course people don't look exactly alike, with the exception of identical twins, but some tend to be simular to someone else. You know the I've-seen-it-before feeling one can have? The unique faces catch your eyes, just as I want people's eyes to catch my photographs.
Confidence, because without it you can't open up yourself to the camera. You can't move around as if I wasn't there because your too aware, and too shy, of the camera. It should be natural, not fake. You should be dancing as if you're the only one. You know what I mean?
Beauty. Do I even need to explain myself?

So I'm going to present some of the models I'd love love love to shoot.

Lily Cole. You might know her from the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassuss. Her red phenomenal hair, and doll face are such a beautiful combination. She often stars in many of Tim Walker's photos and magazines such as i-D, Harper's Bazaar.

Ash Stymest. This British little rascal seems to be one of the most confident boys in front of the camera. He makes every photo shoot a game, in a good way.

Arizona Muse. A girl who really lives up to her name - a muse is what she is. Amazingly gorgeous with looks to kill for.

Abbey Lee Kershaw. Australia has many many beauties. I liked her much better with ash blonde long hair rather than platinium blonde. But she still rocks everything so I guess it's okay.

Andrej Pejic. Yes, it's a man, not a woman. Andrej is the definition of the androgynous. And he is beautiful as well.

Bambi Northwood-Blyth. Yes, an Australian again. This time it's the deer of the fashion world - Bambi. She's got the most gorgeous eyebrows ever.

Charlie Westerberg. A Swedish model! Seen him on the catwalks when I was photographing the shows at Stockholm Fashion Week.

Charlotte Free. She coloured her hair pink after a break-up with her boyfriend and then got scouted by a model agency. Funny world we live in.

For the love of short movies Pt 2

Some beautiful short movies, fashion movies or music videos you all should see.
