Lately

So I take inspiration from Cami (who recently stopped blogging, which is a shame since she had one of the few blogs I occasionally read) and create a little board from some of my recent instagram photos.
1. Me and Louise at the balcony at our collective 2. My lunch consisting of thai soup and bread with cottage cheese and avocado 3. My new room here in Gamleby 4. Linda sitting in our living room 5. Linnea drinking coffee 6. More coffee. And tea. And Emma, Louise, Linnea and Ingrid. Company is essential when drinking tea and coffee. 7. Louise at lunch 8. Emma in my ladybird cap 9. Sia and Olle playing music from Amélie on the accordion 10. Linnea after a night at Folkhögskolan 11. Me and Sia 12. Our happy little family at the collective and Lissi 13. My now confirmed ticket to New York over New years!! 14. Me in braids, the most comfortable hairdo, believe me 15. A shot of Jakob I'm currently working on 16. Me and my first analogue camera

The end to the beginning

The first days of summer was spent with some of my closest friends in my class. First in Uppsala, then in Mårten's summer house in Nora. Next week I'm off to Berlin with some of them. You do want to spend as much time as possible with your friends because once semester starts I'm going to miss them crazy much. It seems that graduation is quite bittersweet after all.

Rosarum

On my way home from Gamleby. Just had an interview and we'll see how things turn out.

Cleopatra

I officially had the best night yesterday. Me and my class had our graduation party with "Come as a country"-theme. I was Egypt. And seriously, being Kleopatra has never been this much fun.

Wincing the night away

Last friday was a perfect finish off on the worst week I've had in a while. I've had basically no life during the last two weeks and now, finally, I could relax a bit. So I started the day off with shooting a fashion story (which I'll publish as soon as I can) and then spending time with the lovely Camilla, Miriam, Björn and Louise.
After Tacos and wine we headed to Berns.
The weather had been constantly changing all throughout the day. Sunshine, rain and then snow. But we prevailed. After all, we were seeing a very special band well worth a few raindrops.
The Shins. They were lovely.

Yesterday in pictures

Yesterday in pictures.
Lara was a ghost.
Philip was serious.
Lina was happy. (much to my dismay, there's a distinct rivalry between us two haha)
And then Philip and Julia even more so.
I was quite happy too. (I had this lovely tea at this lovely café, what could go wrong?)
Philip was silly.
And Lara was patient, waiting for the bus.
And that was yesterday.
(picture 3,4,5 were taken by Lara)

Tell me about yourselves!

It was so nice reading about what you guys are going to do this fall. Feel like I'm getting to know you a bit more, so why don't we do it all the way? Tell me about yourselves! Where do you live, what do you do.. and hopes dreams, tell me everything!
In these pictures I'm wearing my absolute favorite sweater from American Apparel. I took these pictures out of boredom (I was cleaning my room, which is a total wreck and decided to take a break and take some photos).

Fashionhash

Met up with the lovely and very talented Hannah who just moved from New York to my little hometown Uppsala for 6 months. And we're going to be shooting together lots in the future, keep an eye out! Also, don't forget to visit her a-mazing blog while you're at it!

The painting you stole from Picasso

Me, my sister and my dog went for a walk yesterday. It's so nice to have the summer back, even if it's just for a couple of days.

Coming back home

Some pictures I took during my stay in Stockholm. I'm now back and almost settled in Uppsala, ready to take on a few projects. Emmaboda was GREAT. I met so many fabulous people and looking forward to going there next year, although it was the most muddy festival experience ever. Were you guys there?

Wrecked metal

I got myself a Macbook pro a couple of days ago. It's a-mazing. I'm currently trying to rearrange my library of photos and therefore I go through a lot of old pictures. Like the ones above. It's a bit blurry but ah, it's okay.
On wednesday I'm off to Emmabodafestivalen. Very very excited.

Sthlm

I moved to Stockholm two weeks ago. And ever since I've been working, working and working in order to afford a new Macbook Pro and a trip to Australia this winter. So sorry if you've been looking forward to seeing more posts since it's summer and I'm off school - that's not really the case.

However, things have been really good. It's very very nice living here. Much better than my hometown Uppsala (although I'll be moving back in August..). Yesterday, or technically the day before yesterday since it's 00.33 AM right now, Cami and I went to Söder in Stockholm to do some shopping.

First we went to Södra Teatern. Cami wanted to buy tickets to Weeping Willows.

Then we bought six pairs of shoes, two for me, four for Cami. No kidding. They were really cheap. And also a couple of other things.

Like Vaniljhjärtan.
And that was my Saturday. I'll try to post more next week. Promise.

Wednesday

Today and yesterday consisted of prepping shoots. I'm shooting three (!!) stories this weekend and it's hard to make everything work. But I think I've gotten around to it! And it feels awfully nice. So now I'm going to retouch some client work and then watch Requiem for a dream.

Sunkissed

Some days are particularly pretty. Like this one. It consisted of Ice-cream, sitting in a park and being sunkissed.

Bleeding diamonds

Shot a few photos of Josefin today for another art project, it turned out good. Hopefully you'll see the result this weekend! We took the photos shortly after a victorious tournament between my and Josefins former) school. And we at Rosendalsgymnasiet kicked their asses (sorry about the language, but we really did).

Philip and Lovisa guarded my lenses. I'm extremly fuzzy when it comes to my equipment.

Lara took pictures with Josefins Panasonic GF1, really recommended!
And that was my Wednesday! Now - continue listening to Nicole Atkins and working on my religion essay.

I don't speak your americano

Going through my library and slowly realising how much more I shot during 2010 than I have during 2011, it's embarrasing really. And I don't like it and I'd do anything to make a shoot happen. However there's school. And school. And I can't take it anymore. Please summer break, come soon. I want to shoot, shoot, shoot.

Equine

Visited my beautiful friend Isabelle and her new and oh so pretty horse Nitch. I can't believe it has been so long since I used to be in the stables so very often, taking care of the horses, riding and everything that comes along with a little horse crazy girl. Anyway, horses are beautiful.

White magic

This week I have been working at Scandinavian Photo, and now I'm enjoying the last few days of Easter break by doing... nothing and listening to dream pop in the meantime. And it's really really nice.

The chorus girls in neon were his closest things to friends

The last couple of days have been a-mazing. Wish I could tell you about everything but I fear that it would take too long to read so I'm keeping it to myself. Here's a couple of pictures instead.

Great things ahead

I'm so sorry for the silence. Sometimes life is so loud that letters don't suffice. Good things are happening and there's great things ahead. Every weekend in april will be loud, exciting and absolutely fantastic. This weekend me and two friends are celebrating our birthdays together (a little bit ahead since none of our birthdays actually take place during this weekend, but still) with you know, great people. Next weekend I'm turning 18. By heavens. Eighteen. It's crazy that my license will say that I'm now old enough to well, handle myself. And the weekend that comes after that... well I'm off to Copenhagen (do I have any readers in Denmark?).

But I will start this fabulous month a little early, tomorrow, by going to Stockholm to watch Jessica Silversagas photos at Beyond Retro.

So that's an update from me. But hey, I know you want some new photos, and I promise, you will.
