This is a little sneakpeek of an upcoming story. I shot this in December last year and can't wait for it to be all done.
Movie scenes
So, I was looking at one of my favorite scenes from youtube and thought I might share some with you. I couldn't fit them all into a post but I hope you like those I featured. For those of you that haven't seen the movies, there might be spoilers, so you all know.

It was so nice reading about what you guys are going to do this fall. Feel like I'm getting to know you a bit more, so why don't we do it all the way? Tell me about yourselves! Where do you live, what do you do.. and hopes dreams, tell me everything!
In these pictures I'm wearing my absolute favorite sweater from American Apparel. I took these pictures out of boredom (I was cleaning my room, which is a total wreck and decided to take a break and take some photos).
On my mind
This is what's on my mind and what I would shoot if I were to shoot right now. Prints, colours, prints and colours. Perfect.
Future
My graduation is coming up. Twelve years of school are finally coming to an end and I am to decide what I want to do with my life. Those who know me personally know that I can't stop talking about to things: studying photography and Paris. You see, I've wanted to do photography fulltime for almost 3 years now but held it off due to studies. And now, I have the opportunity to do so. However, I'd really like to move to Paris and practice my french for a while. I constantly switch between these options.
It's funny, you spend so much time talking about what you're going to do with the future, but when it's drawing closer you honestly don't know what to do.
What are you guys doing this year?
Edit: The problem, if I were to study photography in paris, is that it's expensive. The education I'd like to pursue in Sweden (Gamleby Fotoskola) is for free. And, I don't think my french is good to enough to just jump onto a french education.
The 11 best albums of 2011
Last year, I decided to make a list of the best albums of 2010, so why not do it again this year?
#1. Hurry Up, We're Dreaming - M83
I could put this album in the top just because of the song Midnight City. It has amazing vocals, it makes you wanna dance and it sounds absolutely astounding. And the rest of the songs compliments that in several different ways, if you haven't listened to this album during 2011... just do it, please?

#2. Smother - Wild beasts
"I would lie anywhere with you. Any old bed of nails would do."
"I dare we put our tongues to the flames."
I did like Wild Beasts before this album. Two Dancers is a phenomenal album. And I know that other Wild Beasts fans might not agree with me, but honestly, this one is better. The song Bed of Nails is such a tender and beautiful song and the sounds are wickedly lullabying.

#3. Ceremonials - Florence and the machine
"And the heart is hard to translate, it has a language of its own."
"We'll be dressed up in grey, with metal on our tongues and silver in our lungs."
We all know that the second album is the hardest album. And I definitely think that it was that way for Florence Welch. I myself had crazy high expectations for this album. It was probably the most anticipated for me, I was so scared that I would be disappointed. But it was beautiful. In many was it is similar to the previous album, Lungs, but there are even more experiments with different kinds of genres and the album seems more fulfilled, every song has it own place in the album and makes it up as it should be. Magical.

#4. Within And Without - Washed Out
"But if you want to recreate the sea for me, I got you."
I came across this album when watching a pretty silly tv-show. I heard a very pretty sort of ambient song playing in the background, and was pleasantly surprised. I had no idea what the song was though, so I used today's technology and used the iPhone app Shazam. And voila, the song was called You and I with Washed Out. After a second listen to the song I realised that it was obvious that I had to listen to the rest of the album. And after that, after listening to the calm ambient vibes the album gives off, I was stuck.

#5 Mirrorwriting - Jamie Woon
"And each thought like a theif is driven, to steal the night air from the heavens."
"Sometimes I wish I could anesthetize, bring up the lows, bring down the highs."
I don't really have a favorite song on this album, the songs goes with each other and I actually had to look up the titles I've been listening to the most. I can't seem to the remember the name of them, although I know the melodies and the lyrics all too well. It feels like the album is a very long pretty song.
Anyway, it's very mellow and easy to listen to. Not necessarily in a boring way, but rather in a way that doesn't require you to pay attention to anything particular in the music.
It's just a really nice album.

#6. Safari Disco Club - Yelle
"Jamais un simple hochement de tête, comme une adolescent timide dans une fête."
"Elle te fera trembler aces ses accords dix doigts."
The song À Cause des Garcons is one of my favorite songs ever. So when Yelle announced that there was a new album coming out in spring 2011 I was very excited. However, this album's focus lies more on the sound rather than the lyrics. And it isn't as controversial as the first album. If you've heard the song "Je veux te voir" and know french, you know what I mean. But to say that this album isn't good would be a complete lie. Yes, true, the first album Pop-up was better. But Safari Disco Club is definitely a worthy successor. Where the lyrics and controversy disappear, it's replaced by childish almost endearing pop songs that make sure that your feet never stop dancing.

#7. Lupercalia - Patrick Wolf
"I put my honor in waste, pull you closer and embrace."
"And we are private worlds away from public eyes."
I have the biggest crush on Patrick Wolf. And seem to falling for him more than ever after this album. The album starts of with the words "You know I, I hate to see you cry" in the song The City. It might seem cheesy but in the context with the music and Wolf's gorgeous voice it just sounds perfectly beautiful. The album then continues off with beautiful, very blissful songs. It is a very emotional album, which is how his albums always are. Although in this one contrasts the previous album's anger and sadness with the epitome of happiness of Lupercalia.

#8. Angles - The Strokes
"I'm putting your patience to the test."
"He's coming from a part of hell. With light and blue eyes don't go down well."
This is so good. So amazingly good. The album totally brings you in with the song Metabolism and it's on. Simple rock complimented with minimalistic pop influences and the voice of Julian Casablancas. This is finally an album that can compare to Room On Fire.

#9. Watch the Throne - Kanye West & Jay Z
"What's a mob to a king? What's a king to a god? What's a god to a non-believer?"
"Coke on her black skin like a zebra. I call that jungle fever."
This is generally not my type of music and I almost didn't include it. But then I was like... what the hell, it's amazing. Kanye and Jay Z come together in an epic and bombastic record about well.. sex, politics, money and all that you know. What I really like about this album however is the sound. The amazing bass of No Church In the Wild, the spartan drums of That's My Bitch combined with the soprano of Elly Jackson (La Roux) and of course, Otis Redding's voice in the background of well... Otis.

#10. Zonoscope - Cut Copy
"Loudspeaker sound, white disco light. It's one for us we'll fall apart."
"Blink and you'll miss a revolution."
This Australian band continues to amaze me with the electronic pop beats that honestly just makes you want to wish you were on the dancefloor so you had a proper excuse to dance your feet away. They're terribly underrated. And although this album isn't quite as good as the previous when it comes to epicness I still don't understand why there isn't more people who loves them as crazy as I do?

#11. Making Mirrors - Gotye
"And I wouldn't catch you hung up to somebody you used to know."
"We get three half dozen beats to choose from. So now we can pretend that there's an orchestra in the loungeroom."
And finally. The last album, also Australian. You've probably heard the song, Somebody I Used to Know? Well please, do listen to the full album, it's just as beautiful.

The most disappointing album of the year: Mylo Xyloto - Coldplay. Coldplay was brilliant during the X&Y period. And Vida la Vida was pretty good. But now, it's not you, it's obviously Coldplay that needs to be fixed.

Met up with the lovely and very talented Hannah who just moved from New York to my little hometown Uppsala for 6 months. And we're going to be shooting together lots in the future, keep an eye out! Also, don't forget to visit her a-mazing blog while you're at it!
V Avenue Shoe Repair
We all have this brand our hearts skips a beat for. Mine is (as you might know), Alexander McQueen. But here in Sweden, it's definitely V Avenue Shoe Repair. And since I'm photographing for Rodeo during fashion week I have been fortunate enough to see it live. My conclusion of the show is, although I liked the previous season before much better, I still think that they're pretty amazing.
