For the love of short movies Pt 3

I probably should rename this to For the love of short clips but, ah whatever, I love these moving images to death.

Wicked winter wonderland

I know it's the wrong season. But here's a wicked winter wonderland that I did for an art project in school. Thanks to Josefin for modeling and Lara for assisting. This is one of the weirdest photos I've taken, but I do like it.

Bleeding diamonds

Shot a few photos of Josefin today for another art project, it turned out good. Hopefully you'll see the result this weekend! We took the photos shortly after a victorious tournament between my and Josefins former) school. And we at Rosendalsgymnasiet kicked their asses (sorry about the language, but we really did).

Philip and Lovisa guarded my lenses. I'm extremly fuzzy when it comes to my equipment.

Lara took pictures with Josefins Panasonic GF1, really recommended!
And that was my Wednesday! Now - continue listening to Nicole Atkins and working on my religion essay.

Hawaiian air

My little sister and my dog outside our house.

The weather has been incredible and I wish I'd been able to enjoy it at it's fullest, however, my throat feels like a desert no matter how much I drink. So no sunlight for me. But instead I'm working on putting together another art project for school. You'll see the results on thursday or friday.

Dream Team

If someone asks who snatched the bigger part of the campaigns this seasons I'll answer not just one but two photographers: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. Shooting for Miu Miu, Cavalli, Gucci, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney and many more they have definitely marked themselves as one of the leading photographers in the fashion industry.

Mert and Marcus met in England in 1994, went to clubs, dressed up and took silly pictures of each other in their studio. These silly pictures proved to be well... not so silly. "We did some tests, and some were cool, so we showed them to Dazed and Confused and next thing you know they had published them." Says Mert Alas in an interview with Time Magazine.

They're known for taking glamourous fashion photos that somehow sticks with you, even after just looking at them once. Constantly contributing to Love Magazine (my favorite magazine right now), Vouge and many other magazines you've probably seen their photos quite a few times.

Their best campaign work is, if you ask me, their Givenchy campaigns. The first one, aw10, featuring widely different models, daring colours and flawless lightning. The second one, ss11, featuring two androgynous models in a ghost like appearance.
One of my absolute favorite editorials is from the issue of Vogue Paris, 90th Anniversary. There, the two photographers visualise Masquarade ball. It's very very beautiful, I suggest you take a look at the whole editorial. It features models like Lara Stone, Mariacarla Boscono, Crystal Renn and many others.

However, as you probably know I'm an avid fan of colours. Therefore I really have to show this photo with Guinivere Van Seenus. Flame red + sky blue = super gorgeous. Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to see more work from these two. It seems that they are what we call - Dream Team.

I don't speak your americano

Going through my library and slowly realising how much more I shot during 2010 than I have during 2011, it's embarrasing really. And I don't like it and I'd do anything to make a shoot happen. However there's school. And school. And I can't take it anymore. Please summer break, come soon. I want to shoot, shoot, shoot.
